The counselors at camp are trained by Shelley, the camp Director, and there is a certified first aider on site. There is a trainee program for new counselors to get experience from more senior counselors. The counselors are between the ages of 13 - 17 years old and are in grades 7th - seniors, and most have gone to camp for years.
For additional safety for the campers, we have rules policies enforced by counselors and we use the buddy system for whenever we go somewhere.Â
During activities, campers are allowed to use age-appropriate tools and materials with help from counselors for the trickier stuff. On hikes, we stay within the property boundaries, and we keep counselors all throughout the buddy line.

Located in Birdseye area outside of Helena, MT. The ranch is on private property. The indoor activities are held in the cabin and an indoor arena. There are hiking trails on the property that we use.
